Notes:

Barberio is a sound and smart 2-way defender. He plays a mature game defensively and he contributes regularly to the offence as well. He is an effective player in all 3 zones and especially at the transition game. Has all the tools; strong skater, great puck skills, good decisions with puck, sees ice well, good crisp outlet pass, strong on neutral zone regroups, and good shot from the point.

He was a member and a leader for team Quebec at the 2007 u-17 Canada Games hockey tournament.
