The downtown road hockey challenge and the Wildcats season launch will take place on Saturday September 10^th in downtown Moncton.

Schedule:

8:00 am to 9:00 am Registration at the Moncton Market 

9:15am Team Line-up to walk from Market to Main St.

9:20am Official Ball Drop and Photo-op

12:00: BBQ and the presentation of the 2010-11 Moncton Wildcats edition at the Market

Rules for the games

-           Games are 20 minutes

-           There is a 5 minutes break after each game / can be use for warm-up for next teams

-           3 players per team

-           Games are played 3 on 3

-           2 points are awarded for a win and 1 point for a tie

-           The teams with the most points in each division will go to the final.

-           In case of a tie, we will look at the goals for and against differential.

-           No goalie pads are required….so this means no goalies

-           Games are played with orange hockey ball

-           No Slapshots. Goals will be refused if scored with slapshots.

-           No off-sides

-           A goal will be given to the other team for any slashing, high sticking or any other penalties.

-           The referee in place will make the calls

-           Don’t forget that the goal for this tournament is to have FUN!!!
